Elementary Attendance Areas

Effective July 1, 2017 – The elementary students will be assigned according to the following boundaries/guidelines.

Gretna Elementary – (Outlined in Blue on Map) The attendance area includes all elementary students who live south of Gruenther Road and west of Highway 31 with the exception of Amber Vista, Lincoln Place south of Gruenther Road, and Santa Fe Pointe subdivisions which are assigned to Aspen Creek Elementary. Also included are all elementary students who live south of Lincoln Road and west of 216th Street.

Squire John Thomas Elementary – (Outlined in Orange on Map) The attendance area includes all elementary students who live south of Highway 370 and east of Highway 31.   The only exception south of Highway 370 will be the Pebblebrooke subdivision, which is assigned to Aspen Creek Elementary.

Palisades Elementary – (Outlined in Green on Map) The attendance area includes all elementary students who live north of Highway 370 and east of 180th Street. The only exception East of 180th Street will be the Tiburon South Area called Ballena(including Tiburon View Apartments) which is assigned to Aspen Creek Elementary.

Whitetail Creek Elementary – (Outlined in Yellow on Map) The attendance area includes all elementary students who live east of Highway 31 and north of current Sarpy Heights area and west of the railroad tracks that cross Giles Road just west of 180th street.

Also included are the elementary students both who live west of the Elkhorn River and the residences along Q Street. The Hamptons, South Hamptons, & Forest Glen subdivisions are included in Whitetail Creek Elementary attendance area.

Aspen Creek Elementary – (Outlined in Pink on Map) The attendance area includes elementary students who live both east and west of Highway 31.

The area west of Highway 31 continues out to the Elkhorn River bank on the West. The northern boundary includes all areas on both sides of Harrison Street. The attendance area also includes the Twin River Vista subdivision and the houses along the east side of the Elkhorn River north of Harrison St. The southern boundary is Gruenther Road(Highway 31 to 216th Street) and Lincoln Road(216th Street to Elkhorn River). This includes Lincoln Place and Prairie Ridge neighborhoods. Amber Vista, Lincoln Place(south of Gruenther), and Santa Fe Pointe are the only subdivisions south of Gruenther Road that are also included in the Aspen Creek attendance area.

The area east of Highway 31 goes to 180th Street for the eastern boundary. The northern boundary is the northern edge of Sarpy Heights subdivision to 192nd Street. At 192nd Street the boundary follows the railroad track to where the railroad crosses Giles Road. From that point the northern boundary is Giles Road to 180th Street. The southern boundary is Highway 370. The only exceptions east of 180th Street will be the Tiburon South Area called Ballena (including Tiburon View Apartments) and the Pebblebrooke subdivision, which is south of Highway 370.

Gretna Middle – (Outlined in Yellow on Map) The attendance area includes all middle school age students who live west of Highway 31 and south of Highway 370. The only exception to this are those that live west of the Elkhorn River and the residences along Q Street (including The Hamptons, South Hamptons and Forest Glen) which are assigned to Gretna Middle #2.

Gretna Middle #2 – (Outlined in Green on Map) The attendance area includes all middle school age students who live east of Highway 31 and north of Highway 370.

Also included are the middle school age students who live west of the Elkhorn River and the residences along Q Street. The Hamptons, South Hamptons, & Forest Glen subdivisions are included in Gretna Middle School #2 attendance area.
