Gretna Public Schools Emergency Feeding

Providing support for all of our students and staff is always a top priority GPS FANS (Food and Nutrition Services) is dedicated to feeding our community even when school is out. Please share any needs your family might have so we can better support you with meals.

In an effort to help support families in our community during the school closing we will be offering meals at no cost.  Please go to this link if we can support you: GPS Emergency Feeding

Food can be picked up using a drive through service.  The daily deadline to notify us of your needs is 8am.   There will be no access to buildings during this time. Menus will not be published ahead of time as we will use items purchased for use in the school meals programs. Pick up is currently planned at Gretna High School and Whitetail Elementary, but if the need overwhelms these locations, additional sites may be opened.  All requests will receive a confirmation text that includes pickup location.

If you have any questions after receiving this information, please contact Kaitlyn Kavan, Director of Food and Nutrition Services, at  [email protected]  (As we navigate emergency feeding sites, Kaitlyn Kavan will have limited access to email. All emails will be responded to at the earliest availability).
