Football Game Reminders:
Fall means football, and we know many of our families enjoy cheering on the high school teams! As a reminder, elementary students must be accompanied by an adult at games. Students are expected to sit with their accompanying adult for the duration of the event to help ensure safety and a positive experience for everyone attending.
School Breakfast Program:
We have had a few students take advantage of the new sack breakfast option at Cedar Hollow. If you have not done so, please fill out the survey. It will only take a minute of your time and will help us know which students are approved to eat breakfast, and we can plan accordingly. Reach out if you have any questions. - https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScjHtdd_6Laahce8scknkae5DNtbuoW4bj6GSBHcuFFMOYrZQ/viewform?usp=header
School Attendance Matters
Every day in school counts, and we want your child here learning with us! When students miss school, they miss valuable instruction, class discussions, and hands-on activities that can’t always be “made up” later.
What is excessive absenteeism?
A student is considered excessively absent when they miss more than 10% of the school days so far.
By the end of the year, missing 17 or more days will be considered excessive.
Our goal is simple: have all students at school, on time, every day. Together, we can help your child build strong learning habits and stay on track for success!
Attendance Protocol:
This year, as a district, we are focusing on increasing overall student attendance. Below, you will find the district's attendance protocol for the 2025-2026 school year.
5 Days Absent (in a quarter) = Phone Call Home
7 Days Absent = Attendance Letter
10 Days Absent (in a quarter) = Phone Call Home
15 Days Absent = Attendance Letter
20 Days Absent = In Person Meeting & Attendance Plan
Thank you so much for your continued support. We hope you have a great weekend with your family.
It is a GREAT DAY TO BE A GUARDIAN!
