Cedar Hollow Families:
Wow! What a great week at Cedar Hollow. We enjoyed the PTO Music Bingo on Thursday evening and Board Game Day on Friday. I am so proud of the students for continuing to work hard at following our GPS Expectations to Give Kindness, Practice Accountability, and Stay Safe.
Next week is Spring Break. There will be no school. Please enjoy the time with your family, and we will be back on Monday, March 23rd.

Field Trip Volunteer Reminder

Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are grateful for the time and energy you pour into our school community. Field trips are a highlight of the year for our students, and they wouldn't be possible without your support as chaperones.
In our ongoing effort to prioritize student safety, we are updating our volunteer procedure. All parent chaperones must have a cleared background check on file and adhere to the following mandates:
Chaperone Expectations:
Follow the teacher’s itinerary and arrive at all designated meeting points promptly.
For liability reasons, younger siblings or other children may not attend.
Chaperones must maintain a direct line of sight with all assigned students at all times.
Your assigned group must remain together. Do not allow students to switch groups or leave with other parents, even if those parents are also chaperoning.
Background Check Procedures:
When you volunteer for a trip, your student’s teacher will collect your name and email.
You will receive an email containing a link to a background check form that you will fill out online.
All information is handled with confidentiality and is processed through our school portal.
You will be notified of the results of your background check and your eligibility to join us for upcoming trips.
We ask that you complete this form as soon as you receive the email to ensure you are cleared in time for the trip. Once cleared, your background check will be valid for two years.
