Cedar Hollow Families:
Good afternoon! We had a great week at Cedar Hollow! It was fun to have some warm weather this week, and students enjoyed the time on the playground.
Next week marks the beginning of NSCAS testing for our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. Our students have worked incredibly hard this year, and this is their opportunity to shine. To help them do their best, please ensure they get a good night's sleep and a healthy breakfast each morning!
Along with all the learning, we also focused on one of our safety protocols, an all-school shelter-in-place drill for Nebraska Severe Weather Awareness Week.
There was a lot of anticipation on Thursday for the Nebraska vs. Iowa Sweet 16 game. While the result wasn’t quite what the Husker fans were hoping for, we certainly saw some very happy Iowa fans on Friday morning!

Lost and Found:
We are preparing to donate items left in the lost and found. Please remind your students to stop by to check it out early next week.

District-wide Support Staff of the Year (this includes maintenance/grounds, bus drivers, custodians, etc.)
Educator of the Year (PreK - 5)
Educator of the Year (6 - 8)
Educator of the Year (9 - 12)
In Building Support Staff of the Year (this includes Secretaries, FANS, Nurses, etc.)
Para Support Staff of the Year
Rookie Teacher of the Year (less than 3 years at GPS)
Specialist Teacher of the Year (this includes art, music, SPED, family/consumer science, CTE, counseling, and more!)
