We had a fun and eventful week at Cedar Hollow! Here are a few highlights:
Monday Surprise:
I was very humbled on Monday when the Cedar Hollow Staff pulled off an amazing surprise. I was lucky enough to be recognized by the Gretna Public Schools Foundation and the staff and students made it a memorable day. Mr. Brown put together a sneaky surprise to get everyone down to the cafeteria for lunch, included my wife and my two boys. I truly love the Cedar Hollow family. We are by no means perfect, but the supportive and inclusive culture that continues to build at Cedar Hollow is inspiring. Thank you to all of the students, staff, and families for partnering together to make this a special place.
Pancake Man/Book Fair
Pancake man was a huge hit on Wednesday evening. Thanks for spending the evening with us and shopping at the book fair. Your support of the library program and the school is amazing!
4th and 5th Grade Choir Trip
On Thursday, the 4th/5th grade choir went on a field trip. They were able to sing for a group at a Senior Living Center and spend some time enjoying the beautiful weather at Peterson Park.
Glow Dance Reward
Today, we celebrated a school reward with a Glow Dance Party in the gym! The students have worked so hard this year to Give Kindness, Practice Accountability, and Stay Safe. We are very proud of their efforts and looking forward to finishing strong.
5th Grade - Fort Atkinson Field Trip
The 5th graders attended their annual field trip to Fort Atkinson. This is an inside look into early American and Nebraska History. What a beautiful day to enjoy an amazing learning experience!
