With a wealth of experience, he has dedicated nearly 20 years to education, primarily serving as a middle school dean, teacher, and coach for various sports in the Papillion La Vista School District.

In his positions at GPS, Mr. Morris has shown great proficiency in leadership, instructional abilities, coaching contributions, and impactful communication. He possesses a strong sense of integrity, a compassionate and attentive demeanor, and the ability to connect with and foster relationships with all students. Mr. Morris has shown that he can gain the respect and confidence of both parents and students alike.

Scott Morris said, “I’m excited to have the opportunity to continue working with students, staff, and families in the Gretna Public School District. I especially enjoy working with middle school-age students. I hope through attending Giles Creek, students develop curiosity and interest in learning and have enriching experiences through participation in sports, clubs, and fine arts activities. Through these activities, students can learn more about themselves and others and experience joy along the way.”

Outside of school, Mr. Morris and his wife enjoy the adventure of having three kids under the age of 5. The Morris family enjoys attending GPS events—especially frequenting the concession stands for snacks.
