
The wait is over! Today was the first day of school at Harvest Hills Elementary! Our halls were filled with smiling faces, excited chatter, and adventure awaited. We're so grateful to welcome our students, teachers, and staff back for another amazing year of learning and growth.

Attention all residents of Gretna! You will soon receive mail from the Gretna Public School District regarding the census, which must be completed as soon as possible. You don’t have to wait for the mail! Complete the census at www.gpsne.org and select “GPS Census”.

Mrs. Matousek's 2nd grade class wrote poetry books, graphic novels, and nonfiction robots the past few weeks. Students today shared their creations with their classmates!






🚛✨ Huge shoutout to our incredible maintenance crew for their tireless efforts in facilitating the school moves across the district! Their dedication, hard work, and attention to detail have ensured a smooth transition for our students and staff.


Today was filled with laughter, teamwork, and lots of fun under the sun! Our students showed incredible spirit and sportsmanship as they participated in a variety of activities, from relay races to tug-of-war. A big thank you to our dedicated teachers, staff, and 5th grade volunteers who made this day possible.








What an incredible time our students had at the class camping celebration led by the amazing Mrs. Matousek! Here's to more adventures and unforgettable moments together as these students prepare for 3rd grade!






Congratulations to our winners who enjoyed a delicious treat from Kona Ice today! It was a perfect way to celebrate their achievements with some refreshing fun outside.


Our first graders at Harvest Hills had an amazing day of adventure and learning with a special "Camping in the Classroom" event! From tents and telling stories to enjoying camp-themed activities, our young campers had a blast exploring the great indoors.



We are overjoyed to celebrate the incredible journey of our Harvest Hills kindergarteners after a year of hard work! We are so proud of their achievements and can't wait to see what they'll accomplish next!
