Children need healthy meals to learn. Gretna Public School District offers healthy meals every school day. Lunch costs $3.25 for Elementary, $3.50 for Middle School and $3.80 for High School.
Your children may qualify for free or reduced price meals.
If you received a direct certification letter after July 5, 2023, notifying you that your student(s) have qualified for free lunches, you will NOT need to fill out an application.

The USDA’s Summer Food Service Program provides no-cost meals to children ages 1-18 years at approved locations across the state. To find information about summer meals sites near you, visit the SFSP Site Finder. It will be updated around May 25, 2025 for this year's summer break.
